No. 5 Northwestern boys pull away from No. 12 Terryville for Class S second round win

The No. 5 Northwestern boys pulled away from No. 12 Terryville for a 63-48 win in a Class S second round game on Wednesday night at Northwestern Regional High Schoolin Winsted. Here's the box from the game.

For Northwestern, junior John Stevens had 17 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists while junior Connor Guiheen added 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Senior Jake Plitt played a key role in a 14-3 run to close the third quarter. The run allowed the Highlanders to take a 51-32 lead into the fourth quarter. Northwestern outrebounded Terryville 45-34.

The Kangaroos were led by senior Matt Sterner, who had 12 points, 3 assists and 4 blocks. Junior Jon Festa added 6 points and a team-leading 12 rebounds.
