Torrington native Jordan Williams is headed back to the New Jersey Nets. Williams announced the move via his Twitter account, Jwilliams20, on Saturday night. The Nets recalled Williams because of major injury issues. New Jersey had just 10 players dressed for Friday night's win against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Cleveland.
The Register Citizen caught up with Jordan Williams and watched him play for the Springfield Armor in an NBA Development League game against the Idaho Stampede on Thursday night. The Register Citizen also interviewed Williams courtside before the game. Here's what he had to say about his time with Springfield.
Williams said he was fitting in with the Armor and was working hard to try to get back to the Nets.
The hard work paid off.
