The New Jersey Nets have sent Torrington native Jordan Williams to their D-League affiliate in Springfield, Mass., the Springfield Armor, according to a story from the AP. To read more, click here.
Williams was averaged just 1 point and 1.5 rebounds in 6.2 minutes per game with the Nets. According to the AP story, Williams is expected to compete for significant playing time with the Armor.
Williams was taken with the 36th pick (2nd round) by the Nets in the 2011 NBA Draft.
